Temple Legal Protection Ireland

Ireland’s Litigation Insurance Provider.

Legal disputes are stressful and the risk of legal costs can make the playing field feel unfair from the outset. Individuals are often required to litigate against better‑resourced opponents, and the fear of having to pay the other side’s legal costs if a case is unsuccessful can prevent valid claims from ever being pursued.

After The Event (ATE) insurance is designed to rebalance that position — on a “no win, no fee” premium basis, ATE insurance means there is nothing to pay upfront and the premium is only payable if the case is successful, and it costs nothing to refer a case to us for assessment.

Our policies also allow interim claims to be made under the terms of the policy for items such as expert reports, helping claimants progress their case without having to finance significant costs in advance.

We will consider insuring all case types from the District to Supreme Courts.

ATE insurance is arranged through your solicitor, who can liaise with your solicitor in setting up your cover.
